Bob Mehsikomer is America's premier muskie, pike and lake trout angler, educator, and television host. Bob is host of Simply Fishing TV Series, seen each week on outdoor television networks. He is an 12-time world record release holder in the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame with releases in muskie, northern pike, and lake trout, and peacock bass. Bob is Mr. Muskie, capturing more gigantic muskies on video than anyone thought was possible. He has recorded on video over 94 muskies surpassing the 50 inch length benchmark, while he also putting his fishing guests onto many "over 50 inch " trophy muskies - many times their personal best.
Simply Fishing host, Bob Mehsikomer, educates viewers on fishing techniques, and shows them how to put all the details together to catch fish, including the best conditions, correct times and locations. Bob reveals his secrets for finding and catching BIG fish - everyone's dream fish.
Simply Fishing is totally authentic from cast to hit - hookset to landing. Episodes feature in-your-face action. Bob has fished all over the America’s for freshwater and saltwater species.
Being a sportsman in the truest sense of the word, Bob was willing to share his fishing knowledge to help others gain more success in the sport of fishing. His seminars are always packed with honest, quality information that one can really put to use on the water. His seminars carry the sportsman’s message of good conservation practices. Let's catch fish, but also use catch and release principles so that the fishing resources are protected for other generations to enjoy. Bob developed the C.P.R. program for fish. "Please Practice C.P.R. - Catch, Photo & Release . . . the future of fishing depends on it."

Kyle grew up living and fishing on a Minnesota lake. Even after years of fishing some of the most famous muskie lakes in the Midwest and Canada, he says, “I'm still amazed by the monsters that my clients, my friends, and I catch every year from the lakes right around my lifelong home in northern Minnesota.” Kyle guides under Minnesota Muskie Adventures guiding service throughout northern Minnesota.
For over 20 years, he has been fishing and guiding in the area, and has developed some highly effective techniques for locating and catching the giant muskies that swim in our local lakes. Kyle has a wealth of knowledge to share whether you like trolling or casting, as he is extremely proficient at both techniques. Kyle’s trolling seminars are extremely informative and second to none.
Kyle states, “Whether you're new to fishing, new to muskies, or a muskie-fishing veteran, I'm here to help you make the most of your muskie fishing experiences. I genuinely love teaching, and have served as an instructor for Simply Fishing's muskie seminars for the last 6 years.”

Brett of Minneapolis, Minnesota
has been Muskie Fishing for 25+ years (mainly Minnesota and Canada, but have fished Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois).
Brett is employed by Thorne Bros, a muskie specialty retailer in Minneapolis, as the tackle buyer and has been there for over 10 years. Buying muskie tackle and inventory control is a big responsibility, not to mention knowing what’s hot and how to find it! If there is a question regarding muskie lures or tackle, Brett has the answers; he’s a walking encyclopedia.
Brett is an accomplished seminar speaker and also part-time writer, sharing his vast experience in equipment, techniques, and muskie fishing with those who inquire.
As a tournament fisherman he records these standings: the Professional Muskie Tournament Trail (1st place at Leech Lake), the Frank Schneider International Tournament (2nd place), and the Simply Fishing Muskie Classic (8th place)
|
Bart has been fishing walleyes and muskies in professional tournaments for some time. In the past 3 years Bart began concentrating on muskies with hundreds of fish in the boat. Bart reached a milestone in 2005 by catching a 55-inch monster on Minnesota waters. Bart has appeared on a number of TV shows including Simply Fishing and Midwest Outdoors.
Aside from spending most of his time on the water, Bart is actively involved inside of the fishing industry. Bart has helped develop the products of Beckman Net and Drift Control as their sales manager. Now with these products under the umbrella of Lindy Legendary Tackle, he is constantly communicating new ideas and assists with the development of the new Lindy products as well.
On the water Bart’s attitude makes even a slow muskie day a great event, in his motto –“just gotta have fun”, and then muskies are the bonus experience.
